To recognize and reward students with exceptional academic achievements, for the 4th year in a row, Yardi Romania is offering 15 scholarships, each worth 1,000 EUR.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for a scholarship you must be enrolled full-time in a BA (2nd, 3rd, 4th year), MA or Ph.D. program at a state university with faculties in Cluj-Napoca. This program si dedicated to students who are enrolled at the following universities and faculties:
Babes – Bolyai University:
- Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics
- Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration
- Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences
- Faculty of Letters
- Faculty of Business
- Faculty of European Studies
*For the time being private universities do not qualify.
Selection Criteria
Scholarships are granted based on the following criteria:
- High Academic Achievement. This is based on your academic transcript (Foaia Matricola) for the university year 2016 – 2017, and a testimony of your scholarly excellence that is provided by a letter of recommendation from one of your professors.
- Contribution to The Professional Field. This is based on the extracurricular projects that you showcase in your CV and during the interviews.

Tell us about your achievements and projects you’re proud of by submitting the following documents to scholarships-cluj@yardi.com
- Your CV with a short description of your extracurricular projects;
- Your academic transcript for the university year 2016 – 2017 (“Foaia Matricola” or a print screen of your grades);
- A recommendation letter from one of your professors in Romanian or English.
Step 2: Let’s meet
Finalists will be invited to our headquarters in Cluj-Napoca to tell us more about their extracurricular projects.

Ionut-Eugen Radu Sava
Radu has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and European Studies. He is currently studying for a master’s degree in Chinese Politics, Foreign Policy, and International Relations at Tsinghua University 清华大学 in Beijing.

Adriana-Denisa Stejeran
She is studying for a master’s degree in Multicultural and Multilingual Communication at the Faculty of Letters. This summer, she represented Romania at the “Many Languages, One World” international essay contest hosted by ELS Educational Services and the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI).

Andrei Kovari
Passionate about robotics since he was in the 9th grade, Andrei is studying for a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science. In his free time he teaches electronics to children.
“This scholarship helped me make real progress with a couple of projects (and components for the next humanoid robot), equip my lab with a new oscilloscope and it provided the necessary funds for a custom 3D printer. I would like to say a big “Thanks, Yardi!”. Keep doing awesome things!”
The Scholarship
Successful candidates will be awarded a scholarship of 1,000 EUR total. You will receive the scholarship in monthly batches, over a period of 9 months.
This scholarship is meant to encourage students to pursue their studies and contribute to the professional field they are passionate about. We do not ask students to work at Yardi Romania in exchange for this scholarship.
